Amazing amazing. We had a large group and we were seated in the back room and our waiters were amazing and attentive. The room and the entire restaurant is beautiful. The octopus was perfectly cooked. The vegetable on top added to the rich flavor. The yellow tail in citrus juice was amazing and I don't even like raw fish. The branzino entree was so so good and again I don't like fish all that much but it was my favorite of the three entrees we had. The potatoes with it were great. The chicken was great and tender. The spaghetti was cheesy but just ok. The desserts were great. Cocktails, wine, all of it made my visit to Boston really great.

Wonderful big city ambience, with a large space, enthusiastic conversations surrounding you, and absolutely terrific food. My wife and I ordered: --crispy rosemary and onion focaccia with eggplant and perfectly salted olive oil --lobster pasta paccheri, which is a rigotoni pasta but without the grooves, it was delicious with saffron, creamy tomato sauce, scallions, and sun-dried tomatoes which gave the dish a perfect sweetness --grilled asparagus --sauteed rapini, perhaps the lesser of these amazing dishes due to the bitterness of the brocollini We were pleasantly amazed at the better-than-north-end quality of the food and will certainly return!

Great place for a dinner to impress! The drinks are great but certainly on the pricey side. The menu is fun with multiple crudo offerings.

Came here for dinner and had the best service. Shout out to CJ, our waiter, who gave us phenomenal recommendations for food and drinks. Food: recommend the orecchiette with bolognese. I would seriously just come back to eat this one dish. The gnocchi was good. Pass on the asparagus ravioli. Ambience: on point for date night or group of friends Drinks: if you like mezcal and you like sours, get the last word with mezcal. They make a clean espresso martini too. Would eat here again.

My wife and I went for a dinner on a Saturday night. We arrived early and our table was available and we were seated right away. We had the tuna crudo and striped bass sashimi, both dishes were fabulous. Light and flavorful, we debated getting another order for dinner. My wife had the orichette , which was full of flavor of fennel and sausage. I opted for a spaghetti special which had king crabmeat on top. Both dishes were top notch . The vibe was energetic for a Saturday night with lively discussions at every table .

I recently attended an engagement party at Bar Mezzana and had a wonderful experience. The cocktail hour was delightful, offering a variety of tasty drinks to choose from. The multi-course meal was a highlight of the evening, showcasing the culinary expertise of the restaurant. Despite the restaurant being quite busy, the wait for the meal to be completed was worth it. The salmon crudo was a perfect start to the meal, with its fresh and delicate flavors. The pasta dishes were very satisfying, with perfectly cooked noodles and a rich and flavorful sauce. The flat iron steak was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, and paired wonderfully with the accompanying sides. To end the evening on a sweet note, the tiramisu was a heavenly dessert that left me wanting more. Overall, I would highly recommend Bar Mezzana for any special occasion. The combination of delicious food, attentive service, and a vibrant atmosphere made for a memorable evening. I am already looking forward to my next visit to this fantastic restaurant.

Such a cute Italian spot in the Ink Block area with lots of shaded outdoor seating for brunch. They have a very large cocktail menu, but oddly no coffee menu though you can order your favorite standard barista drink here. I wasn't a fan of my main dish, but my friends raved about their orders so I'll add a little star inflation for the low key enjoyable ambiance. Cinnamon Bun: So much better than Cinnabon! Doesn't have that funky overly yeasty mass produced taste. Tastes like something a grandma in the country would make you for breakfast. Sufficiently large enough to share with a friend before diving into brunch. Confit Duck Hash: Photos of this don't do good job of showing the high greens ratio. I'm not anti-green, since I do believe a strategic pairing of a slightly bitter green vegetable does wonders to offset richness from something rich like pork or duck confit. However, seemed like overkill compared to the scant amount of duck. Everything tasted nice individually, but all that green roughage wasn't pleasant. I'm trying to enjoy a leisurely Sunday brunch with friends, not start a cleanse.
